Steel box handle-basket arch bridge is a new structure of bridge, which has deeply developed in the past two years. The study on design theories of steel box handle-basket arch bridge gets relatively behind the engineering practice, and the study on natural vibration of the structure fall behind the study on static feature of the structure.At present time, the development of steel box handle-basket arch bridge is aimed at long-span and light-weight, study the natural vibration of this type bridge has great significance. In this dissertation, on the basis of collection and arrangement of existing arch bridge's dynamic datum, discuss the basic procedure and the merit of arch bridge's natural vibration analytic methods as well as them of finite elements numeric analysis; based on Xiaowan arch bridge in Yunan province, use APDL parameterize program system of ANSYS associated with VB program, establish "The Program of Long Span Steel Box Handle-Basket Arch Bridge Model Building Fore Treatment", discuss the parameters effect on this type bridge's natural vibration; Moreover, by means of experimental investigation, test the performance of Xiaowan arch bridge's natural vibration, and certify it with theoretical value, thus getting science evaluation to dynamic reliability of Xiaowan arch bridge and feasibility of test methods, moreover, supplying science foundation to consummation and development of this type bridge's design theories.
