The paper studies fast calculation and correct methods in admittance matrixes modify program, in view of the requirement of dynamic calculation in DTS program. According to the real condition, build up a series fault model in power network and work out a better power network fault simulation-system. Base on the classic simplified methods of admittance calculation, a series of methods are used in the program to reduce the program. Base on dynamic date structure list and matrixes reducing method, develop a method to modify admittance matrixes in use of the medium-term and long-term process in power system dynamic simulation. This method can reduce operation, and increased the calculation speed of DTS effectively.
