Auxiliary Strategic Decision System For Power Dispatching Based On Data Warehouse And Data Mining

The article analyzes the new requirements of power dispatching for data analysis and processing, proposes to set up the data warehouse of power dispatching depended on the existing transactional database such as SCADA/AGC and EMS etc, and we can analyze and dispose its data according to topic for assisting power dispatching decision by on-line analysis process (OLAP) and data mining (DM). The article adopts the last SQL Server 2000 to build the data warehouse for load analysis, and presents the on-line analysis tool based on Excel, and attempts data mining in the aspects of the relative analysis between load and weather and load prediction. Data mining adopts the improved ID3 algorithm and can meet the demand of load analysis and prediction.
