The article analyzed the factor which leads to the coal silo self-ignite and the guild of volatilization of gas of symbol.In order to solving the problem of high thickness of flammable gas in the coal silo in power plant, which leads to dangerous explosion. Firstly, according to the inertness of nitrogen gas, separate the nitrogen gas from air and inject it to the silo to dilute the flammable gas. Secondly, inject the purified smoke into the silo. Then accomplish the target of silo explosion defending.Using the control way of DCS, apply the distributing control on the whole system. Completely modularize structure decrease the control risk to point level. It ensures the safety of the coal silo and at the same time ensures the safety of the system.
