In recent years,with the development of rotary mechenical mechanism,the dynamic balance technology obtain more and more wide development. Especially to the crankshaft of motor ,we put forward higher request. Crankshaft is a important part to engine which is use of piston. For variety of reasons, there always exists unbalance inertia-force when crankshaft is running. This unbalance force will make the engine not working fine and produce vibration and noise and increase friction. As result of, the capability and life of engine will be reduced. So, the research of dynamic balancing for crankshaft has important significance on both theory and practice. In this paper, the basal principles on dynamic balancing are profoundly studied firstly including dynamic balancing theory of common rigid rotor and mechanical principle of two side balance and dynamic balancing theorys of four cylinders crankshaft, and so on. Establish a practical model and educed an expressions for ridding unbalance, in addition. One new balancing method of four cylinders crankshaft is presented. This method can reduce obviously unbalance, shorten ridding unbalance time and increase the production efficiency. The vibration system is the central problem in mechanical design of balancing machine that is detailedly discussed. The vibrational model of universal dynamic balancing machine is analyzed and the relation equation between vibrational breadth and unbalancing quantity is deduced. Base on these theories above, scheme of semi-automatic dynamic balancing of four cylinders crankshaft is presented and much practice work has done. The machine can automatically fulfill measure and ridding unbalance. This machine is composed of measuring system and ridding system. When sensors installing measuring planes capture the vibration signals and transmit them into measuring system,which can supply the magnitude and phase of unbalance force . And then, transfer them into equivalent amount of unbalance by the balancing method of six cylinders crankshaft to six ridding planes. Ridding system can rid unbalance according to the information from of measuring system and reduce the unbalance to permissible amount. At the same time hardware construction and work principle of measuring system and ridding system are introduced. The ideas of software design of lower and upper computer are expounded. Experiments prove that this balancing machine is easy to be operated with comparatively higher balance quality and has the higher riddance efficiency and can meet practical requirement. Consequently, this machine has better practical value and wide market foreground.
