The Connected Bolt we'll evaluate is part of bestraddle single rail traffic system,and this system is first application in China. There are many premature technologies in related subjects and fields. within the connected bolt testing,because of the goal of this research is to set up a application system for the test,the plan we choose to set up the system must be economized and be easy to practice. After do much research and analysis ,and with many experiments,we decide to use the ultrasonic testing technology to inspect the connected bolt. At beginning of design of the traffic system, they don't consider effect of the health of the connected bolt to the system, so there are much difficult within the inspecting system which come from the construction of the traffic system, such as the pinhole at the side of connected bolt that can produce many noise signals in ultrasonic feedback signals which trouble the inspecting system, the un-smooth of the top face of connected bolt can make the combine of the transducer and the top face become very difficult so that we must design a special transducer to fit to the situation. Because of these factors, during our research, we think ultrasonic carefully and we do so many experiments to exam some important theory, at last we design a new special transducer to handle the situation of the un-smoothly top face and the noise signals coming from the pinhole, and we develop a new stress measure method adopted to inspecting the connected bolt, and base on the VI(virtual instruments) technology we set up a ultrasonic inspecting system to evaluate the health of the connected bolt, in which we use the advanced computer technology to deal with a mass of the measuring data and use powerful DSP(digital signal processing) technology to analyze the ultrasonic signal to obtain very useful information. Within this paper, firstly we introduce many aspects of ultrasonic NDT particularly. Then we expatiate the new measure method and the new special transducer carefully. At last we describe the ultrasonic inspecting system. |
