With the rapid development of science and technology, there are many large-span bridges increasingly. Box section beams, possessing strong bending rigidity and resisting torsion, have been applied widespread in the construction of large-span bridges. The analysis methods of box section have been developed and are perfect inceasingly, they include numerical value method including finite element method and finite strip method and analytical method including generalized ordinate method and Wushi No. 2 theory, elasticity ground beam analogy method, generalized bending theory and transfer matrix method and so on. In the paper finite strip method and transfer matrix method are applied to analyze torsion on the Songhuajian River super-large bridge in the Zhaoyuan Town.Main contents studied in this paper are as follows:1. Various section geometric features about the Songhuajian River super-large bridge in the Zhaoyuan Town (including features of buckling, rigid torsion and distortion.)2. Computing various section force of cantilever casting and stress of Semi-rigid continuous beam by the means of ASCB.3. Longitudinal force of cross frame corner, force of coping of pier relevant cross frame corner and the most unfavorable spacing between cross frame.Internal force and stress calculations in the paper may been supplied with construction referee and employment, and calculating results according to the force of cross frame corner and the most unfavorable spacing between cross frame may provide certain basis for cross frame installation in large-span bridges.
