Based on the mechanism of dazzling and the technology of anti-dazzling, this paper mainly researches on low beam's ami-dazzling technology of free-form head-lamp and the anti-dazzling technology of coating glasses.In the field of low beam's anti-dazzling technology of free-form head-lamp, this paper introduces the structure of head-lamp and new design techniques for head-lamp, discusses the regulation which was legislated by ECE on low beam and the development of free-form head-lamp, and research the theory of ray trace.Traditional head-lamp based on 2-D drawing design techniques, which can not traces rays lively and exactly, and need a long period for design. Using ReflectorCAD software, this paper get a 3-D model of free-form reflector by adjusting ray's distribute on distribute screen, at the same time, we can get its NC program for mould manufacture, this reduced the period of head-lamp design. Avoid the shortages of real experimentation, this paper use TracePro software to simulate rays distribute, and proves low beam's anti-dazzling of free-form head-lamp by means of ray-trace.In the field of anti-dazzling technology of coating glasses, this paper introduces the basic theory of coating optics and vacuum coating, get a ideal transmission curve of anti-dazzling coating glasses by studying on visual luminosity, chroma and color psychics.Programmed by FORTRAN language, according to ideal transmission curve, this paper get coating method by using Genetic Algorithm to optimize coating material and material's optics thickness, and proved its reliability by FILMSTAR software.Builds a model of coating glasses by software TracePro, use the model of free-form headlight system, proved glasses anti-dazzling characteristic by simulation.
