With establishment of socialist market economy system and innovation of electric power Industry system, commercialization operation of power system is an important subject that need be resolved urgently. After drawing into competitive system and establishing electric power market, Power system loss analysis and calculation has been paid much attention to all through. At present, there are various of Power loss analysis and calculation methods, but most of them are deterministic methods, however, in practical power system, forecast of power injection at buses is uncertainty and random fluctuation; in addition, power system components emerge also some occasional accidents and exit operation, which lead to stochastic of original data and uncertainty of calculation value. Departing from above problems, this paper compares existing methods of power loss calculation and probabilistic power flow calculation, each method has its application area, but it also exists some disadvantages. After power transmission network open, power transmission cost computation and power transmission cost price have evident change in transmission service, and it is important value that active power and reactive power losses are solved in power transmission service' s analysis. Based on proportion sharing principle, at first, a transformation is achieved from loss network to lossless network, consequently, a novel complex tracing method for power transmission is developed in this paper, the upstream tracing method and downstream tracing method are discussed in detail. By the two algorithm, holding portion of every power station or load can be got in all the transmission device of power system, the path and portion of every transaction or wheeling service can be determined. Handling of loss is one of most difficult problems for the upstream tracing method and...
