With low noise, simple control, good dynamic performance and other fine characteristics, Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Motor (PMBLDCM) has been widely used in aeronautics and astronautics, robotics, digital-controlled machine tools and so on. However there are some problems such as torque ripple, which makes it impossible to realize accurate position control and speed control. This paper puts forward double Y BLDCM system. Its stator has two Y three phase windings which are shifted 30° in space, and shares a rotor. Its drivers are composed of two bridge converters. The whole system works according to the way of multiples and multiphase, which not only decreases capacity of each converter, but also reduces half of commutation torque fluctuate and enhances the reliability of the whole system.On the base of research on the basic structure and the principle of double Y BLDCM, This paper establishes its two mathematical models: Phase variable model and direct current motor model, which become the...
