| Automobile visibility is one important segment during the procedure of car body general layout. It directly influences riding reliability safety, amenity and operational convenience. Nowadays how to check visual field efficiently, accurately and intelligently, and shorten design periodicity are an emphasis for the present automobile research. So development the special system for automobile visual field is significant. Based on summarizing and analyzing the ways of Auto-body interior layout, supported by CATIA V5 software as working platform, using the Visual Basic program language and Home-Language in CATIA V5, employing the theories of Man-Machine Engineering, and being directed by the knowledge based engineering(KBE) methodology, this project develops a Check System for Automobile Visual Field. On this base, the system are divided into five modules: Check of front view, Check of windshield wiped area, The obstructed area check of IP formed by steering wheel, Check of binocularly obstructed angle of A pillar, and Check of rear vision for interior and exterior mirror's. Each module is based on SAE and GB standards. At the same time, the system integrates the theories of KBE, sufficiently utilizes correlative knowledge of design, and use CATIA V5 standard interface. The system is good of man-computer interaction and can be used conveniently. This system basically comes to realization of Intelligence. At last, combining with a new car project of Beijing international science and technology Co. Ltd, this system is put to check its practicality and feasibility. The result is satisfactory. |
