Swithced reluctance machine (SRM) is a new structure of electromotor. Combining this new structure with the modem power electronics technique and modem control technique, swithced reluctance drive (SRD) has been one of the pop issues of the development of modem electric dirve. SRD has the both advantages that asynchronism motor frequency conversion dirve and direct current motor dirve have.Using TMS320LF2407 (DSP for motor control, made in TI CO.) as the control-core, this paper design a suit of 3KW SRD, and has done some theoretic research as well as experimental analysis.Firstly, through consulting all kinds of reference, this paper summarized the development and application of SRM and analyzed the framework and the characteristic of SRD. Comparing with other driving systerms, this paper also analyzed the advantage and the disadvantage of SRD. The developmental direction and the pop issue of SRD were putted forward in this paper, and ulteriorly, this paper made the significance of designing SRD clear.Secondly, this paper summarized the running mechanism of SRD and analyzed how to control this systerm, and aslo compared each control methods.Thirdly, this paper set up the mathematic model of SRM. Through linearization and idealization, the basic equations for analysis of SRM could be found as well as the expressions of current and torque.Fourthly, this paper designed a suit of 3KW SRD. In this chapter, the hardware design and the software design were all listed clearly.Finally, experiments have been done on this practical systerm. Some useful experimental results were got and were analyzed further. These results gave some convenience for improving on this systerm.The design of 3KW SRD has cumulated some useful experience for high-power SRD systerm in the future.
