With the development of the electronic technology, the higher requirements of Power Supply are raised including high efficiency, high power density, low EMI and rapid dynamic response. A hysteresis-band instantaneous current control PWM technique is popularly used because of its simplicity of implementation, fast current control response, and inherent peak current limiting capability. This paper presents a novel 3KVA single-phase modularized inverter. The current-mode control technology with instantaneous current feedback is adapted in the paper. The paper mainly studies two ways of instantaneous current feedback, the way of instantaneous voltage regulator and absolute voltage regulator design. The methods to produce sine wave are described and a digital reference voltage is given and analyzed. The principles of the inverter's main parameters design are given, then. At last, the experimental results vindicate the above analysis.
