The nondestructive detecting means of cracks in bulky concrete structures are investigated in this paper mostly. Synthetically discuss the primary methods and its character of the concrete structures' faults detecting. Summarize the development and existing problem of the concrete structures' nondestructive detecting. It is expounded that the new techniques methods and the engineering application of signal processing. For the character of the bulky concrete structures, a great deal of data is obtained by the ultrasonic and impact-echo nondestructive detecting methods. Using the artificial neural network theory based on back-propagation arithmetic, the input-output relation model of characteristic parameters and crack depth is put up. The parameters include ultrasonic speed arriving time and distance between transducer and crack. It is proved by the practical project that the result accords with the actual situation.Based on the character of wavelet transform theory, the impact-echo method is used to detect cracks in concrete structures. The collected signal is analyzed by the wavelet transform. The characteristic information of cracks is picked out. The investigation indicates that the application of wavelet analysis to the concrete structures' faults detecting can make the fault character more clear. It is convenient for theestimation of faults. So the wavelet analysis has better using foreground in the concrete structures nondestructive detecting.Ultimately, the character and existing problem of the application of neural network and wavelet analysis to the concrete structures nondestructive detecting is analyzed in the paper. Furthermore, talk about the problem that need study more.
