Following with the speedy development of economy, the lack of electric becomes a big problem. In order to solve the problem of electric quantity lack thoroughly, the construction speed of power plant has been increasing at present. At present, such as current cooling technique, cooling tower technique and wind cooling technique were major cooling-down method in many heat-engine plant and nuclear power plant. The experimental investigation about some hydraulics problems on cooling water discharging in current cooling technique was studied in the article..The impact on flow field and temperature field of water area which's near discharge outlet usually was forecasted by mathematic model method and physical model for studying mixing regularity and diffusing regularity of cooling water which was discharged by heat power plant and nuclear power plant. Accordingly, the phenomenon of model distortion has been created. Several scholars has already studied this problem many years. But they gained little quantitative results because of testing method's limitation. Based on the previous studies, the research in this paper was mainly aim at the scale effect of temperature tield simulation test with PIV system.Based on similarity theory, four variability conditions such as normality, variability two, variability three and variability four were defined according to entity model. The main work in the thesis is summarized as follows:1. Planar flow field in different variability conditions was measured by PIV, and the data of flow field was intercompared and analyzed in this article.2. Surface temperature field was measured by Thermal Infrared Imager, and the data of surface temperature was intercompared and analyzed in this article.The result in the article has great significance that it can provide theory evidence for analogue model and reference value for the choice of variability on integral model, influence range forecasting of downstream flow field and temperature field.
