The energy resources supply is hard up in our country. Over a long period of time, it is in a lacking condition. The consumption of energy utilization for single product is greater than that in the developed countries, which is the baffle for the development consumption of the national economy. So saving and cutting down the consumption of energy is the clever behavior. Reducing the consumption of energy can promote the competitive ability of the production. Particularly, the heat exchanger networks in which energy is concentrated most consumers the greatest quantity. Therefore, it is very important that we should optimize the heat exchanger networks and recycle energy as much as w e can.The paper has worked in the following aspects:(1) The paper has studied the optimization of steam-power system, and introduce a concept what's the efficiency of the surplus heat load transform path. In according to the profit of surplus heat load transform path, we can certain the steam balance variation generated by the retrofit in process energy saving, which offer an effective evaluation method to the HEN subsystem retrofit. At the same time, the paper analyzes an example.(2) Because of the complexity of the project optimization problem, the traditional optimization method can hardly be used to solve. On the basis of research of GA and SA, the paper has improved the genetic operator and combined GA and SA, which prevents precocious convergence effectively and accelerates the rate of convergence.(3) For HEN of atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit in some oil refinery, the paper has synthesized and optimized the HEN. The paper sets up a complete mathematic model and reinforces the constraint, which reduces the scale of HEN and simplifies the question the petroleum system is very complicated, which includes thousands of compounds, and its exact components are difficult to define. So the simulation software of ASPEN PLUS is applied to simulate the whole atmosphere-vacuum distillation process of the locale, which established the foundation of the optimization of the locale HEN. The paper makes a program by GA/SA, and achieves the optimization frame of HEN and the least UC cost. The paper estimates the profit of the plan on the efficiency of transform path method of the surplus heat load, and makes sure the plan is available. Comparing by the result of applying the project software HEXTRAN, the result by GA/SA is better.
