Due to the large torque ripple and current ripple of asynchronous motors based on direct torque control at the status of startup and operation, the paper proposed a new control strategy. On the basis of two-level inverter, a Boost circuit was added to achieve twelve-voltage vector control and decrease the torque ripple and current ripple. Moreover, the method of startup and torque adjustment had been improved. At the end of the thesis, with the use of Simulink software, a simulation model of the control system was designed, so that it can give the traditional and improved control method simulation at many aspects. The simulation showed that it can efficiently solve the problem of torque ripple and current ripple, and the control precision of the flux amplitude was improved too.
