With development of building in cities and amelioration of environment, all kinds of municipal piping is constructing. But the condition is harder in view of traffic and environment. Therefore, piping under road and buildings is laid with use of pipe jacking technology. It is ineluctable that soil layers is destroyed because of extrusion of small diameter pipe jacking . Environmental effects of small diameter pipe jacking are simulated in this paper. On the basis of geotechnical plastic mechanics and dilatancy of soil, relative fitness principle of plastic flow rule is followed to stress field and displacement field in infinite body with cylindrical cavity expansion. Expressions of stress field and displacement field are deduced via image method and mend of Cerruti solution. Meanwhile, the sensibilities of soil layers parameters, outer diameter and buried depth to vertical displacement and horizontal displacement are analyzed. The conclusion is arrived that outer diameter and buried depth are pivotal factors.Numerical simulation of environmental effects is researched according to displacement load method and Drucker - Prager yieldcriterion. And the coherence is obvious from the contrast graph between analytical expression and numerical solution.
