The Study On The Community Characteristic Of Campus Design & Planning

In recent years,along with the high speed development of higher education of our country and accelerating of campus socialization process,as well as the change of higher educational concept and system,community - oriented construction of university campus have becoming more and more significant to the improvement of residential and teaching environmental and education quality.This paper discuss the principle and method of campus design & planning with the principle of community psychology in 3 parts.Part I including chapter I mainly elaborates the necessity and background of studying campus design & planning,also makes explanation about concepts,the research range and content.Part II including chapter II to IV firstly reviews the major styles of campus space and program structure and its influence to the students' learning,dwelling and association.Then starts with the main feature of college student,study their way of developing social contact, and its interaction with space environmental.Part III including chapter V to VI concretely discusses the basic principle and space processing skill of community - oriented construction of university campus from the 5 aspects of residential district,central square,courtyard campus programming layout and traffic.
