The method that steel reinforced concrete member is strengthened with high-strength stainless steel wire and permeable polymer mortar is a good way of structural repair and strengthening. Compared with other strengthening methods, since the permeable polymer mortar is a kind of inorganic material with durability and fire-resisting property, and the stainless steel wire with high strength is hard to be rusted, the characteristics of working materials endow them with a prosperous prospect.Based on the existing investigation on steel reinforced concrete beam strengthened with high-strength stainless steel wire and permeable polymer mortar, this thesis aims at the experimental investigation on the performance of steel reinforced concrete slab strengthened with high-strength stainless steel wire and permeable polymer mortar. The test results indicate the flexural performance of the strengthened slab is good. Ten slabs are investigated, one of which is a compared slab that is not strengthened, six of which are slabs strengthened with high-strength stainless steel wire and permeable polymer mortar, and the other three of which is slabs strengthened with prestressed high-strength stainless steel wire and permeable polymer mortar.Based on the experimental investigation, the rehabilitation effect, structural behavior and failure morphology are evaluates, The calculating method and formulae of the flexural capacity of the slab strengthened with high-strength stainless steel wire and permeable polymer mortar are presented. The limits of the usage of this strengthening technique and design formulae are proposed for the engineering practice. At the same time, the stiffness formula is suggested for the steel reinforced concrete slab strengthened by this technique. One program is written for simulating the progress the slab under load and the trend of the slab flexural capacity changes in vary parameters is gained. In addition, the rehabilitation effect, structural behavior and failure morphology are evaluated of the slab strengthened with prestressed high-strength stainless steel wire and permeable polymer mortar. The formula is presented of the flexural capacity of the strengthened slab in principle.
