The uppermost technology in the field of Intelligent Building is Building Automation Control Technology. However, the manufacturers develop their own devices and interface for Building Automatic Control Device. So it is an insistent problem to integrate devices provided by different manufacturers in a Building Automation System and building automation devices are not universal for each other, too. It is just at this situation that BACnet protocol is born. BACnet is a data communication protocol for building automation control networks and this protocol implements the inter-operation for building automation control networks devices. That is to say , if the manufacturers develop their devices and interface according to BACnet protocol , it is possible to integrate devices provided by different manufacturers in a Building Automation System.The contents that this dissertation researches are trend management and schedule management in building aotumation control system. The trend management is a main approach and measure to examine the effect of a system after the system has run for period of time. The schedule management is the base and core content of devices automation. So the trend and schedule play a very important role in building aotumation control system. BACnet workstation is the software system to manage BACnet building automation network and trend management and schedule management also become two main functional subsystem of workstation.This dissertation starts by the introduction of BACnet building automation control networks protocol. Firstly, the dissertation expounds the module and system frame of BACnet protocol. Following, the dissertation analyses the system frame of BACnet workstation and functions compartmentalization. Afterward, the development process of system is discussed in order of software engineering. The dissertation has a particular explain about demand analyse and based of it , has a design of user operational interface, data processing, interface to other module, database relation mode and so on. In the end, we use MFC programming technology to finish the coding work. At the tail of the dissertation, we have a summarization to workstation and points out some advices to the study in the future.
