In 1935 Japan proposed against top down construction for the first time, by study and application through more than 60 years, top down construction has been applied on many basement of high building and super high building at present. Superiority of propping effect, economic benefits and shorten time limit for a project of top down construction make it popularize and apply in the whole country. Issue of law of construction technique of top down construction in Guangzhou city and Shanghai play guidance function to canonical construction, which indicate that development and project going against the craft of way of doing things use and enter a new stage. There are still many problems need solving because of difficulty in calculating soil and complexity of construction. These paper aim at offer supervise function for design and implementation of top down construction of a certain degree, in order to play a role of casting a brick to attract jade in the research of top down construction .This paper mainly study the application of top down construction in soft soil area while constructing underground structure and overground structure at the same time, the main content is as follows:First, starting with the concept of top down construction, this paper introduce briefly development of top down construction in home and abroad, technique and procedure of construction, advantage and limitation of this method .Second, the paper introduce design computing technology and mechanics model of important component in top down construction -- diaphragm wall and middle support column.Third, supported by actual project, the paper analyzes different operating mode in construction by FLAC software, sum up and analyzes calculation result to summarize the rule of internal force and transFig.uration of structure component and confirm feasible operating mode, namely optimize the operating mode to design with dynamic simulation technology, reduce the risk of constructing, guarantee the construction security.Fourth, the paper consider whole effect of underground and overground structure, calculate the internal force and displacement of diaphragm wall in the angle of structure component in coordination and contrast with design method which generally adopt in engineering. Fifth, by abundant survey data in engineering which adopt top down construction and else research results, combine calculation of this thesis, the paper sum up construction experience of top down construction in soft soil area, hope to play a guiding role to other projects.
