A new structural self-elastic damping plate of the compressor plate valve was presented in this paper. Then, the displacement, stiffness coefficient and stresses of the damping plate were calculated by means of ANSYS, a finite element analysis software, and the equivalent motion mass of the damping plate was calculated by means of Ray-Ieigh with ANSYS. And then the methods for engineering design was proposed through the analysis of the results that the displacement, stiffness coefficient, stresses and equivalent motion mass of the damping plate were calculated by means of FEM with different structural parameters. And the mathematical models of this valve were established, the request designing the self-elastic damping plate was also presented for ensuring there is good motion law in the valve and guiding the design of the self-elastic damping plate. The valves with self-elastic damping plate are used in series of large and middle-sized compressors, which proves their stresses in the working process were smaller and the larger spring force could be loaded on the damping plate because their stiffness coefficients were higher, so the reliability of this valve is higher.
