| The paper studies the distribution principles of combining traffic flow on point intersection and focusing area through investigation, provide important basis for traffic flow control, guiding distribution studies and the intelligent transportation system comprehensive platform.After quantitative traffic flow investigation along main intersections of aimed road section (Railway station — Liberation Road— DaYan Road), the paper reasons its distribution principles by statistical analysis. The results show that when time interview cause is less than Green light time Poisson distribution cannot be applied; when it approaches the Green light time Poisson distribution can be applied approximately; while it is larger Poisson distribution can be applied.
