| Linear motor is a sort of driving device that can transit electric energy to mechanical energy of linear movement without any switching mechanism. It is widely applied in industry, civil use, military use, and other occasions with linear movement. The research of linear motor application is one of the most important research domains of linear motor, and is also the ultimate purpose of studying linear motor. This dissertation expounds an instance of linear motorapplication in industry------ laying alloy powder device. The subject originatesthe production process of copper, lead, or steel strips which is a new kind of bearing bush's material. The main line of the dissertation is the design of laying powder device. It involves the machine structural design, the design of linear induction motor, the finite element analysis of linear motor's electromagnetic field, and the control system of linear motor.Firstly, the dissertation introduces the developing process, the set type, the fundamentals, the equivalent circuit, and the characteristic of linear motor. Then it discusses several aspects of the design of laying powder device in detail. The main content of the dissertation is as follows.1. The dissertation describes the technical requirement of laying powder device, and brings forward the idea of structural design. Then the mechanical design drawing of laying powder device is given.2. The dissertation calculates the electromagnetic parameters of the planar linear induction motor that is also intituled as main motor, and analyzes the two-dimension electromagnetic field of main motor with ANSYS8.1 software. Through finite element analysis, we obtain the magnetic figure and the curve diagram of flux density of air gap's midst. In addition, ANSYS8.1 software calculates the electromagnetic force of main motor with Virtual Work and the Maxwell Stress Tensor methods. We contrast the magnetic force calculated by finite element method with that calculated by tradition method.3. The control system of laying powder device is devised. Programmable Logic Controler(PLC) is used to implement the time sequence control of the entire device. The hardware and software's design scheme of frequency control system are given for controlling the main motor.Finally, the experimental results are shown, and the entire design process of laying powder device is summarized. |
