In the fatigue test of the helicopter moving component , It is earlier and more efficient to monitor the position and spreading of crack where the Acoustic Emission technology used. To enhance the precision and efficiency of acoustic emission is the sticking point for the life evaluation of the all kinds of part of helicopter. In the paper, I apply the modal acoustic emission method which is based on the traditional resonant sensor parameter acoustic emission method to analyze the compound material destroying mode and try to find out the relativity and character of the acoustic emission. The major work is as follows: I make the comparing test to check up the two acoustic emission theory's fundamental hypothesis and get that merit and limit of two method, which is help to find the best applying area for two acoustic emission method. I make the modal analysis of the acoustic emission signal which is detected in the compound material destroying test to identify the compound material destroying pattern. I carry on an investigation in the prolonging the calendar life of helicopter moving component.
