| A scientific and efficient optimization project for distribution network structure can save investment, reduce power-cutting and the line losses, as well as improve the quality of electric power, which is currently one of the important task of the departments of power system. The genetic algorithm based on natural selection and natural gene mechanism is presented in this paper. It simulates the network structure optimization by simple encoding technique and propagating mechanism. While resolving the network structure optimization, the genetic algorithm executes three same and simple genetic operators: selection, crossing and mutating. It makes a self-adaptable and probability overall searching under the leading of fitness value in the whole searching scale until acquiring the best result. In the end, the paper reaffirm the importance and imminence of network structure optimization of distribution network, and discuss the wide foreground of genetic algorithm applying in electrical power system on the basis of comparison of the advantage and shortcoming of it and traditional algorithm. |
