The blades are one of the important parts of an aeroengine. For many blade machining process plans, if the clean-up machining can be completed on the 4—axis NC machine, the production efficiency can be increased and the finished cost can be reduced effectively. Therefore, this thesis researches into the algorithm of four-axis blade clean-up machining, and, by taking the processing of a blade for example, works out the non-interference four-axis clean-up machining tool track and carries out the simulation. All of these have achieved good results. The main content of this thesis contains:1) The analysis of the blade clean-up machining process. This thesis analyses and compares several representative blade machining process plans. It discusses the characteristic of the blade clean-up machining and puts forward relevant blade clean-up machining plans.2) The construct of the blade's offset surface. This thesis discusses the construct process of the parameter surface's offset surface. Besides, it analyses the principle of smoothness and the estimation criterion of the offset surface. In view of the characteristic of the blade surface, it uses the circle ratio method and the Kjellander method together to achieve the blade's smooth offset surface.3) The algorithm of the generation of the blade clean-up machining tool track. This thesis introduces the concrete programming process of the cutter center track on the four-axis blade clean-up machining, including the determination of the path interval, of the step length and of the boundary. In view of the geometric features of the blade, it puts forward an interference examination method of cutter points by ball cutter and solves the prevention problem of the interference cutter points.4) The realization of the clean-up machining system. This thesis gives an overall design of the clean-up machining track programming, analyses the specific functions of each module, and finally gives an example to illustrate the specific operational process.
