Sensorless vector control has been studied broadly, and speed identification of asynchronous motor exactly is very important. The theory of vector control is analyzed in this paper. Based on analysis of several schemes of speed identification, the control strategy of reactive power model referencing adaptive system (MRAS) is chosen. It is implemented via MATLAB software. Eventually the control system in the core of TMS320F240 DSP is designed, and the reactive power MRAS scheme based on a V/F open-loop control system is carried out for 1.1 kw induction motor. The reconstruction of output voltage is analyzed in terms of the DC-bus voltage and switching patterns of the inverter, and the effects of the dead-band time and non-linear characteristic of the switches on reconstruction of output voltage are studied. The results of simulation and experiment demonstrate the feasibility and validity of this strategy.
