The article mainly researched into the blade containment in the aeroengine. In the Article, we made experimental research on four sets of highly impacting model between plate pandle blade and columnar shell with different size Among these four groups of experiment results, all blade is contained by columnar shell. Plate pandle blade struck out notches with different number and depth in the shells. If the blade is long and rotate speed of breaking is high, there are two notches in which the second notch is deepest and the blade bend into the shape of "U". If the blade is short or rotate speed is low, then there would be three notches in which the first is deepest and the blade bend little. From the ten sets of experimental results in both 1990 and 2004, four sets of experiments were selected to build the model in Msc.Dytran. The process of impact and the plastic dynamic response of the shell can be gained through simulation. The results coincidence validates the feasibility of prediction of blade containment capability and design new containment structures using simulation. Base on the structure plastic dynamic response analysis and blade deformation process analysis, the effect of the blade bending on the impact process and results is indicated. The factors such as length of blade, rotate speed of breaking were considered. Based on the process of energy absorption and distribution between blade and shell, the process of impact fell into some successive phase. The model was built in the article can be adapted to the containment with different material and rotate speed, structure. A new method researching on the containment was put forward for reducing the fee of experiments and shortening the time on research and development. The results of study are of great importance and wide applied prospect in the design of aeroengine.
