| Piled-raft is always used in the large-scale oil tank on soft soil. The analysis for large-scale tank relates to pile-soil-pile interaction. Due to the complexities of this problem, the behaviour of the piled-raft for large-scale oil tank on soft soil is still not completely known.In this paper, the simplified interaction method proposed by The Geotechnical Engineering Institute of Zhejiang University was applied for the analysis of the new-built 100,000 m3 oil tank in SPC, in which the piles and soil under the raft are simplified into springs. The raft is simulated by the 16-node degenerate equivalent element. The settlement of the foundation, the stress in the raft, the reaction force on the top of piles and the thickness for the raft were presented. In-situ measure for the soil and the pile reaction, internal force in the raft were conducted the results are compared with those of theoretic internal analysis, which provide the basis for the design of similar engineering in the future.f... |
