Research Of Creating Hotel Lobby Interior Environmental Ambience

Hotel lobby is the traffic and function center of hotel, therefore, hotel lobby interiorenvironment design plays an important role in hotel design. With the development ofeconomy and the enhance of people's taste, hotel lobby interior environment design hasaccomplished the transition from simply interior surface decorating to creating interiorenvironmental special ambience. At present, research is brought forward on creatinghotel lobby ambience in China, the research is about traditional culture and modernambience which are combined to create complete ambience. Through a great deal of investigation on native hotel lobby and a detailed collectionof relevant research data domestic and abroad, according to hotel lobby interiorenvironment ambience contrasting with lobby of other architecture, and investing therelation between people's behavior and psychology with lobby ambience, it is consideredthat space,light,material,furniture and ornaments,landscape should be the factors whichcreate hotel lobby interior environment ambience. These factors are combine by the ployswhich include center of vision ,matrix,same style. Finally, creating complete ambience is brought forward on the lobby of ShanghaiMarketplace Portman hotel and Changzhou hotel, as example research on the theoryconstructed in this thesis.
