The application of predictive control was discussed mainly in power plant based on theory study in this paper. With the research of controlled objects' dynamic characteristic and improvements of measures of predictive control in detail ,the level of drum ,the main steam temperature ,and the main steam pressure control systems are successfully controlled under predictive control strategy .the following is the main contents of this paper :We reviewed backgrounds of the development about predictive control idea, and explained it's theory basis in brief, analyzed it's property roughly. In the end ,some valuable suggestions are given out, too .We identified the dynamic characteristic of generator power between steam pressure with fuzzy identification. The idea of classification and the method of L-M identification were introduced to fuzzy identification , it made the identification carried out successfully .We discussed the predictive control theoretically carefully, proved the predictive control's good robustness in detail , put out many valuable advices about choosing regulation parameters.We put out fuzzy identification based on transfer function , arithmetic of fuzzy predictive control ,and thought of general predictive control model in this thesis .In this paper, we analysed the controlled plants' dynamic characteristic , applied fuzzy identification to recognize the controlled objects, compared robust of PID controller and predictive controller, made the process of predictive control become continuous process, united the weight matrix of control increment .All these measures improve the control results of predictive control.
