With the improving of integrated automation technology in power plant and substation, functions ,structure and man-machine interface of hardware system of electric power equipments are becoming better. The article introduces a kind of hardware system with microcontrollers and DSP used in electric power equipment, and depicts its structure,principle and functions. In the introduction, technology requirements of hardware system of electric power equipments are expected. Design in the article will obey to these requirements.Next, we introduce the total configuration of the hardware system,data exchanged of different modules, and make certain the functions of each module. In NO.3 chapter, we introduce the design scheme of each module.Because we will introduce hardware scheme mostly in the article, only some anti-jamming questions related to software and hardware discussed in NO.4 chapter.In the end, we introduce the data exchanged among these modules, include Core-Measure module,Action-Logic module and Assistant-Function module.The hardware system is completed basically. A kind of electric power automation equipment has been successfully developed on this hardware system. We expect more empirical results and future developing.
