With the development of national economy, more and more asymmetric high-rise buildings are built. Because of the serious eccentricity of asymmetric high-rise buildings and the effect brought by high-level mode shape, it is important to research how to reduce the response of torsional vibration and the seismic response of the high-rise buildings. The research about the eccentrically braced steel frame are relatively abundant, while this paper will apply this sort of component on the reinforced concrete structures, and analyse the anti-seismic effect of the structures.Consulted the Code for seismic design of buildings and the domestic and overseas present research results in this field, this paper comprares a asymmetric high-rise building in plane and elevation with a structure setted eccentrically braces on the old structure in dynamic FEA mothed. The paper develops the dynamic characters, seismic responds and the displacements of these two sorts of structure, and also makes a foundation for further research and provides a reasonable design guidelines.Due to the effect of torsional vibration arose by eccentricity of the center of mass and the center of rigidity, there will produce stress concentricity in some local location of the structure, which is very detrimentally. This paper discussed the contribution of the reduction of the response of torsional vibration of the accessorial eccentrically braces in structure on emphasis.ANSYS, a FEA software, is used to conduct the spacial finite element dynamic analysis of the structure, including mode analysis, response spectrum analysis and time history analysis. The earthquake reaction of the structure was studied. By disposing the analysis results, the paper shows the differences of the seismic response and displacement of the two sorts of structure in diagram.
