Automobile road data acquiring and processing system is the main part of automobile experiment. The system has been studied widely and used primarily in developed countries because it reflects real states and costs less. The braking performance of automobile is the one of major performances of automobile. With the increase of the highway of our country , and the raising of automobile speed, the automobile braking performance is very important for ensuring traffic safety, with the same time ,ABS is important to guarantee the automobile travelling safety. However, with the vehicle used and some other factors, which can probably cause the automobile anti-lock braking system (ABS) to failure or drop the character of service, and have brought hidden trouble to the safety of vehicle travel. However, the existing detection means can not satisfy the fast and accurate detection on the automobile performance detection line, so it is necessary to study a kind of ABS detection equipment that satisfies the requirement. Brake performance is one of the most performances of vehicle, for it will influence transportation and safety directly. Automobile road data acquiring and processing system was constituted based on the study of multiple-component WFT(Wheel Force Transducer) measurement in this paper, and some road experiments were done for the use of this system, furthermore experiment results were analyzed. The main researches and achievement were as followings:1) Be familiar with function and institution of automobile road data acquiring and processing. Command the system's characteristics. The multiple-component system was developed based on single-component WFT(for driving torque measurement), and finally calibration and road experiments were carried out.2) Loads were analyzed during braking. The relationships among road braking forces, arrester braking forces and pedal forces were analyzed, and finally the braking forces distribution based on braking torque was proposed. 3) The analysis of braking distance. Some methods for reducing braking distance were discussed, furthermore the measurement of arrester lagging time used automobile road data acquiring and processing system was discussed. 4) Road experiments were carried out based on automobile road data acquiring and processing system. Braking distance and time were calculated, moreover braking property was analyzed and evaluated. The braking forces distribution relationship between front and rear arrester, axle load transfer, error for integral calculation, methods for reducing error and lagging time of arrester were probed into.5) There were technical specifications for general vehicles braking systems. We didn't know the conditions of vehicles anti-lock braking systems. Slip rate was been evaluation in this paper.
