Mobile equipments such as cell phone, potable computer are developed so quickly. It makes people's lives more convenient. But these equipments must be charged by AC power supply. Under some occasions, only DC power supply is utilizable. In order to charge the equipments that must be charged by AC power supply, a DC/AC converter will be needed. According to these requirements, a DC/AC converter controlled by MCU is designed.Firstly, existing inverters and the strategies that are used to control inverter have been analyzed and compared. After compares, a unidirectional power flow mode inverter using high frequency link is selected as the main topology and the inverter is controlled by P87LPC768 that is made by Philips. How to control the inverter and protect it using MCU have been especially explained.Secondly, a simulation has been preformed using software. During the simulation, different control strategies that will make the outputs of inverter different have been used. After the simulation, the outputs of the inverter are analyzed and compared. At last, based on the circuit parameters and simulation results, a 150W prototype has been made. The output voltage of the inverter is ideal. Whether the load is resistance or resistance-capacitance, the distortion of the output is small. The results show that the DC/AC Sine-wave Power Supply controlled by P87LPC768 has many advantages, such as small, light, flexibility and low cost etc..
