The development of DeYang manufacturing resource-shared-platform city is one of the key development items of Science and technology department of Sichuan province. DeYang city is one of the manufacture bases in China which has thousands of manufacturing enterprises. However , since different levels of the equipment and the human resources and little information is shared among these enterprise, their capacity to compete with the domestic and the foreign enterprises are cut down. So, resources shared among enterprises, virtual enterprises founded, facilities and human resources being made their full play, are an effective way to rapidly enhance the whole manufacture level in this district. In this paper we focus on the production modeling and workflow management of virtual enterprise, which is a sub-system of the resource-shared-platform of DeYang equipment manufacture. Virtual enterprises built by bids can use the system to finish the production modeling and workflow management.In this paper, firstly the existing methods to realize production modeling and workflow management are discussed, and then, according to the project background and demand, a process- based modeling way isselected, the active node taken as a basic component of enterprise model, and the role of the node defined, the restriction on node ^exerted, at last the enterprise model is established. Database technology, B/S technology, ASP technology, and message delivery, document management technology etc. are used to realize distributed workflow management system.There are five sub-systems in the developed, such as production-modeling, process-discussing, workflow management, individual working and system management. They are integrated through the production-modeling tools, workflow management engine, and task-table management tools. Users can operate the system by its friendly interface and exchange data with database.In this paper, production modeling and workflow management technology and the logic structure of the system, module and database design and the developing tools are discussed in detail, and the analyses to the key modules and the main interfaces presented. Friendly interface, easy and simple operation, good replanted and maintained, better extension make this software be of a fine prospect and high utility value.
