With the development of the multi-body-dynamics and the widely use of computer, it enabled the virtual prototype to be developed for entire machine. The motor industry, as a key industry in our country, has widely employed Cax techniques during the products designing period, but the use of multi-body-dynamics technique is drop behind the developed countries such as Japan and some of the Europe countries. How to develop a virtual-motor-prototype via multi-dynamic technique is much more interests Chinese motorcycle factories.This paper built an off-road virtual-motor-prototype via ADAMS and ANSYS system. Included tire and road surroundings, the prototype could be simulated for driving and braking operation. With the result of the virtual experiments, this paper also evaluated the harshness, vibration and braking security of the prototype. Further, this paper designed a new style of engine mounting to reduce the vibration generated by engine inertial and explored the natural characters influence of the suspension parameters. With the conclusion of suspension parameter would influence the natural characters of the motorcycle, this paper also discussed the relationship between the suspension parameters and the braking vibration.This paper tried to build up the virtual-motor-prototype via different methods and compared the results of those different models. When virtual prototype built for harshness and braking security experiment, there is no obvious different amount those prototypes. Since the weak of computer equipment and the multi-body-dynamics techniques use level in Chinese motor industries, multi-rigid-body virtual prototype is a reasonable design method for current Chinese motor factory. |
