There is serious wear and tear corrosive in rear smoke channel of power station boiler. These problems will affect the effect of the rear smoke channel and the efficiency of the boiler. At all times, it's one of the difficult problems to solve the running problem in power station. Guiyang power station number nine boiler putted into production in 1995. From it's production, the wear and tear in rear smoke channel is serious, and that the rear air heater is the most. It all replaced some heat pipes in three repair of the power station. This serious affects the security and economics of the power station.Base on the study of the structure of the rear air heater, we find that the wear and tear is due to the angle between the heat changer and the level, so its flow field distributing is asymmetry. Although we have installed equal flow board in front of the heat changer, but its shape just based on the experience and not had fact evidence. So we have not radically solved the wear and tear problem of the rear air heater, on the contrary it aggravated the wear and tear of some parts. Because there would spend lots of time, money and labor force to experiment in rear air heater to estimate the whether or not flow field is uniformity, using numerical simulation to solve the problem is very easy and feasible.Thought study and analysis, we suggest two projects to solve the wear and tear of the rear air heater. One is augmenting the incline angle of the heat changer, making the flow field of the rear air heater uniformity, thereby reducing the wear and rear of the heat changer. At the same time this project would spend lots of money and its effect is not great, so it's not practical. The other is starting with the alteration of the equal flow board and the numerical simulation the flow field of the rear air heater. We separately simulate and calculate the flow field for different installation place,the incline angle and structure of the equal flow board. So we would get a better equal flow board, and it can make the flow field of the rear air heater uniformity. Hence, this paper mostly discusses the feasibility of the second project.
