In order to control the production cost, the unit performance of a power plant should be found out and the generation electricity cost should be known. For this reason, it is necessary to inspect and analyze the thermal economy of the power plant thermal system. Whereas, with the development of the thermal system, it became more and more complex. The traditional calculation cannot fit for the engineering necessity because of the complexity of the thermal economic computation. In this paper, the 'Configurable Software for Online Analysis of Power Plant Thermal System' is investigated.In the first chapter, the calculation analytical theory of thermal economic and the development circumstance of the thermal system were introduced and the aim of the research and the emphases of the thesis were founded.In the second chapter, the main steam system, the auxiliary equipments and the other sub-equipments of the complex thermal system were introduced. The general thermo-economic index of the thermal system was analyzed and the method of the thermal experimentation was introduced. Correspondingly, the basement and emphases of the software development were founded in this chapter.In the third chapter, based on the software engineering theory, the framework of the software was founded by using the structured analysis (SA) and the structured design (SD):Firstly, using the structured analysis theory (SA), which is based on the software engineering, the requirement of the 'Configurable Software for Online Analysis of Power Plant Thermal System' was analyzed. Secondly, using the structured design (SD), the software was divided into nine modules, including the user management module, the kit module, the configuration module, the system identification module, the compute module, the buffer storage module, the online management module, the technical file module and the system maintenance module. The management of the software was put forward in every module, based on which the system was developed conveniently and maintained easily.In the fourth chapter, the heat equivalence equation of the ejected steam, feed water and the drain water were defined again. And the three-type heater was defined afresh, too. The influences of the matrix heat equivalence equation and the auxiliary steam-water to the equation was investigated. Based on the primary heater model and the assistant model, the universal heater mathematics model of the software was deduced and the universal computing model of the whole software was founded.In the fifth chapter, the thermo-economic influence to the heater system was quantitatively analyzed by using the equivalent heat-drop method. The thermo-economic analysis of the universal heater model was extended. Lastly, the index function of the inspect heater was given.
