As a result of the development of power systems, the distribution automation system has great application background and tremendous marketable value. The fault section location and the reconfiguration are key functions of the distribution automation system, so they are become of the research direction for a lot of people in the world.Whatever algorithms assumed, the fault section location and reconstruction are not independent of the topology model of distribution networks and a good topology model will help to realize these functions. To increase the reliability, it should be in time to ensure the fault section when there is a fault appeared. For the T point, it is hard to realize the function of fault section diagnosis. In this paper we divide the description matrix of distribution networks into two parts which one part only contains the complex coupling factor and the other ignores the complex coupling factor. In the same time we put forward a fault section location fast algorithm from the practicability of the distribution networks fault section location, which first makes use of some vertexes information to ensure the zone of the fault then makes use of the vertexes of this zone to locate the fault section exactly. This algorithm has simplified the computation greatly and improved the real-time character of fault section location algorithm, which ensures the engineering practicality of fault section location algorithm.The distribution network has the characteristic of design in close loop and run in open loop which make it reconstruction. The objects of the distribution network are multifarious and in this paper we chooses loads equalization as our reconfiguration object. The loads equalization of distribution network is a blast problem of loads combination. With the increase of network points the complexity of loads equalization has improved, which affects the real-time character of loads equalization.In this paper we take loads equalization as the network reconstruction object and put forward a fast algorithm according to the tri-point network – the distribution network loads equalization fast algorithm based on the Partitional-hierarchical Model. This model presents not only the coupling of every child distribution network but the sequence of every vertexes and it is convenient to compute the loads which decreases the requirement of memory. The method to search the smallest load of vertex that is bigger than average and the biggest load of vertex that is smaller than average decreases the quantity of loads combination greatly and realize the loads equalization through the loads transfer. It makes sure the speediness of loads equalization because of few optional combination quantity.
