In slabs,under the combined action of vertical load and lateral load (such as wind ,earthquake),slab-column connections will transter punching shear and unbalanced moment. There are some methods to calculate the strength of this type of connections abroad, but no one is satisfactory .In china building code of (GB50010-2002),only punching strength of connections is considered. This cannot meet the needs of engineering design and restricts the development of this structural type. It is necessary to study the working mechanism of slab-column connections under the action of punching shear and unbalanced moment . The contents of mostly study as follows: 1. Tests of there interior slab-column connections are studied in this paper . Theproperties of connections under vertical load and lateral reversed load are analyed. Theload-displacement hysteretic curve,development of crack ,energy dissipation capacityand failure mode of slab-column connections are studied. 2. The plastic limit state method is used to slab-column connections under the combined action of punching shear and unbalanced moment .A set of equations is derived in the paper. The yield line theory is validated by tests in the text . 3. Ultimate moment of resistance of the slab-column structure with slab strips and without slab strips is contrasted . 4. The distributed coefficient of moment in the ACI318-2002 and the reinforced concrete rising slab technologies code (GBJ130-90) is contrasted .The equivalent beam model is introduced. The effective slab width of floor slabs is discussed in the paper . |
