Recently the alternating current (AC) motors driving are being more and more used in industry. Often there are several AC motors in one application system .The process controls used in the area of industry production, generally, are much complex control systems. It is difficult to get their exact mathematic models, so the traditional control theories are unsuitable to such systems, therefore, only to seek the intelligent control. The intelligent control is based on fuzzy theory, artificial neural networks, artificial intelligence, expert system etc. To realize the orient-objected intelligent design and control models, which include ascertaining the property of the controlled object, identifying the character of the controlled object and AI inference and control modules, this study will emphases on the design and control of this model system. In order to actualize the intelligent control, the mathematic model which described the characters, properties and controls of this system, must be built.The hardware of the AC motor intelligent type-tested control system based on the Windows operating system, is consisted of the forward channel and the backward channel. The forward channel is the system's control channel, through which the upper computer gives control command which control the local devices to the lower computer. The backward channel is used to sampling the data of the system. It will collect the realtime data signals and transmit these signals into computer to analyze and execute intelligent control algorithms. The intelligent testing system use a PC as the upper computer to operate central control and a PLC as the lower computer to gather local data and execute control commands. It is required for the industrial PC to communicate with each other. The software of the control system is edited mainly by VB6.0 VC6.0 COM technology Access database Excel database and Matlab, which is used to display the controled and monitored interface of the searial communication and process the control algorithms. The SIEMENS S7-200 PLC deal with the local information collection, upload the information to the upper computer, carry through the relative control and process of the information after receive the upper computer's commands, and control the local devices. Further more, the system that manage the trial data collection, query and print the graph curves of the reporting tables, is formed. The system is very suitable to the motor type-tested tasks and can reduce the heavy works of the experimentalist greatly. The trial data can be gathered automatically or put in artificially. So, the data collection, the trial control,the table print and the test query have been integrated. The intelligent trial operation and management have been realized indeed. The utilization of Matlab math calculaion software and some advanced intelligent control algorithms, which dispose the trial data and paint the trial curve, improve the veracity and sciencity of the trial data greatly.The main program of the control system is used to complete all trial flows of a certain experiment item, which include the control of the measuring, collecting, processing and the output,and realize the realtime control to the trial progress. The items that will be experimented in the motor trial include: resistance trial, rotor open voltage trial (round motor), unload trial, load trial, temperature promotion trial, and MS curve trial.
