A Research On The Visual Characteristics Of Plant Materials

Plant materials is the basic element in landscape architecture, many people have researched the visual characteristics of landscape plants, but their starting point was usually based upon botany and horticulture. This article try to put the modern design ideas into landscape planting, to view plants without prejudice, discard the non-related things in the visual characteristic research.In the research, the author discovered that the visual characteristic of normal plants was often overlooked, and the texture of plants were overlooked even more. Here I use a method of myself researched the often-use-plants of north China, pointed out some characters we should pay attention to in landscape design.
