The slope is one of the most basic natural geological environments for human survival and the project activities. The geological calamities of side slope which are brought out by natural force and human project endanger human economy the life and living environment seriously day by day, and the slope question has been paid close attention by our human. Habitually we practice slope stability analysis and appraise method by the safety coefficient method, which was set up under the basic of slice methods of rigid body equilibrium principle, and achieve the safety coefficient by carrying on the slope stability calculate which can be regard as the slope stability evaluation index. Because safety coefficient is a definite value which is confirmed by definded method.it fail to consider calculating the randomness and variability of the parameter, so there are following limitations in slope stability appraisal: first, it can't provide the degree of safety of slope, second.it lead to the fact that some side slope's safety coefficient is greater than 1 but they are actually destroyed in use.The practical slope calculation parameter is random and mutant ,so in slope stability it has great significance to draw the reliability theory into slope stability studying. Reliability theory considered the randomness and variability, and measure the degree of safety of slope by strict probability.lt can remedy above-mentioned deterministic analysis deficiencies that method exist,and keep slope stability appraisal more close to reality. Because of this , this text has described the method of routine deterministic analysis which is include mainly: coefficient transmission and Bishop method and also described the basic principle of reliability theory, the method and the application that mainly conclude Monte-carlo method, Reliability index method and Statistical analyses , and according to the research on the two method through examples it is suggested that we should adopt reliability method besides deterministic analysis in slope stability analyses.for those two methods can refill and check with each other.In slope control engineering design, still adopt routine definite value design method at present, which regard design parameter as definite value , has neglected their randomness and variability. Though this is a kind of method on dealing with project problems which accumulate quite abundant experiences, it is incomplete after all and have already cause much project accidents in this aspect. As to antislide pile design, confirm anchor anchorage depth is very important, it is not only the key element to decide which one should adopt in rigidity or elasticity pile but also the necessary factor to solve the pile body shear -. flexural torque and the stress .This text research on the design of antislide pile chiefly and discuss the principle and the method as well as the process of caculation of antislide pile routine design. It also put the reliability theory into the antislide pile design,deduced specific calculated formulation,set up the fail-safe analysis model and represent the application process of reliability theory when put it into the antislide pile design.At last,it analysed the utility of reliability theory .given out the parameter sensing analysis and described the retaining wall reliability analysis principle as well as the method.
