Powders, especially ultra-fine powders, which have many advantages, such as fine particle size, large specific surface, high surface reactivity, are widely used. On the other hand , due to agglomeration and difference of the surface property, which are difficult to realize equality dispersion, powder are given influence on their applied performances. Therefore improving the dispersion properties of powders and the surface modification of particles are very important.At present, equipments of powders surface modification used in our country, which have many disadvantages, such as bad dispersion properties, bad modification effect, instability of product quality and small production scale, are not fulfilled applied demand of the powder industries. Aiming at this actuality, a new equipment with tri- rotor continuum surface modification has been developed in this research. It's resolve dispersion intensity and operation time. By testing sample of Precipitated Calcium Carbonate and testing sample with particle size and distribution, specific surface area, particle configuration, coated percentage, accumulated density and absorb oil quantity, which indicated that the dispersion and surface modification effect of tri-rotor continuum surface modification equipment are fulfilled the demand of powders applied industry completely, also the system working continuously, realizing produce scale. The performance of the test equipment is much better than others dry machinery in our country, and as well as overseas dry machinery and wet machinery, also it has the advantage of the produce cost low.The successful development of the tri-rotor continuum surface modification equipment, not only improve the technology of surface modification in our country, but also the higher produce capacity and more steady quality, which are important of practice significance to advance process technology with powder industry in our country.
