The experimental system on the Horizontal heat exchanger, a heating-cooling unit has been set up in our experiment base. Deal with the data, which are collected real-time by the collecting-data implement. In winter, study the startup and intermittent operation characters, and compare the system performance of the late as well as the earlier heating. In summer, study the intermittent and continuous cooling operation ,and furthermore find the coil length per quantity of heat in the definite condition that can be consulted by project design. This paper presents a theoretical and experimental investigation of the Horizontal Heat Exchanger. The physical and mathematical models for the Horizontal Heat Exchanger in the soil have been established.Based upon the application and the heat transfer law of the Horizontal Heat Exchanger, computer programs have been developed to calculate the fluid average temperature of the heat exchanger. Moreover, compare the theoretic data with the test data.In the same time, using ANSYS finite element software, stimulates and analyses the temperature distribution of ambient soil when the heat pump is in the intermittent operation, both radial and portrait,in the winter and summer. So easily results the recovery of ground temperature field under the intermittent operation. Besides, the soil temperature curve in the same situation about the single tube and double neighbor tube.and have enduced the respective effect rule. in addition, heat and mass transfer in moist unsaturated soil have been discussed. Elicit the dominated equation, and qualitatively discuss the rule of the course which soil parameters effect on the heat and mass transfer.
