As a governmental policy, the reform of wall block is carried out firmly in china. Clay bricks have been forbidden in most cities, which require the appearance of new wall block. Reinforced warm masonry shear wall (RWMSW), applied national patent, takes energy saving architecture, city house etc considered particularly. The main contents of my project are as follows:Firstly, according to analysis of program ANSYS on RWMSW, it is found that: using the design formula, the calculated carrying capacity of shear shows good agreement with the analysis result of program ANSYS. The process of destroy is the same as expected mostly.Secondly, based on systematical analysis and calculation with program PKPM on 120 residential buildings with RWMSW, the paper puts forward the proper height, the number of stories in five kinds of earthquake intensity, two types of site soil condition. It is founded that: it is stability of wall that is the main control condition.Thirdly, with RWMSW characteristics, considering the seismic ductility character, easy work and reasonable load-bearing capacity, we set forth the structural detail drawing and some codes so that design faculty and worker use it correctly.Fourthly, Project Hangu resident community is probed into. The comparative analysis of technical economy and seismic response is done between clay bricks with reinforced warm masonry.Fifthly, the applications of the reinforced warm masonry, including build block, colligate reinforcing steel bar, application of self-compact working concrete, the use of falsework and so on, are introduced in this paper.According to the result of analysis of program ANSYS and theory calculate, a general idea on RWMSW comes into being, which include characters of shear bearing, stability of wall, the seismic ductility character and so forth. The dissertation brings forward the maximal suitable height, the structural detail drawing and some codes so that design faculties and workers apply it widely.
