We research essential aerosol dilution using laboratorial method at first, and thenobtain the steady dilution factor. Whereafter, we investigate evaluating method ofgeneral ventilation's filters and table a proposal about filters testing standard. It canmake users and manufacturers to grasp capability of product. We must adopt effectivemethods to obtain good indoor environment. Filters are equipments that achieve airpurify. We usually use fibrous filters, but this filters'resistance is high and use upmany energy in air condition system. If we can find a kind of filter that resistance islow, it is significative. We accept Chinese general ventilating filters'testingmethod— atmospheric particle efficiency and Japanese industry standard— JIS 9908 totest performances of the civil electrostatic filter according to flow rate and voltage.Electrostatic filters'level reach medium efficiency and more and their resistance arelower than fibrous filters, moreover linear electrodes'performances are better thanindentions'. Because man pay attention to running expenses, we educe that the civilelectrostatic filters have some economic superiority than fiber filters througheconomic appraise. At last we table a proposal to how to establish testing standardand expedite civil of electrostatic filters. Testing content should include efficiency,resistance, concentration of ozone, and so on.
